Uppercut Kennel's is located 25 minutes North of Houston, TX. I have owned American Bulldogs since 2003 when I purchased my first AB. I was blessed to have the opportunity to be educated on the breed over the next several years, of which that education will never end. I continue to learn more about the dog world in general each year.
Here at Uppercut Kennel's, we breed for working ability. We believe the bulldog of yesterday was a true athlete. Thus we breed for sound structure and working ability not for color or looks. Good looks are just a perk. Besides being an athlete, we also believe the AB should be a loyal family gaurdian.
We encourage individuals who believe the American Bulldog may be for them to fully educate themselves prior to just jumping in the fire. As great as the AB is, this breed is not for everyone. There are many websites that are helpful, but first hand experience is best. Ask other owners about their experiences, and feel free to email us with any comments or questions.
